Many of you may have surmised that I am working on building up my pottery studio with the intention of creating a livelihood that I love. It’s a lot of work, but one of the things I enjoy most about it is developing new items that I hope people will appreciate having in their home.
The winner of the draw will receive a copy of the book and their choice of one of the following, a Buddha necklace, Christmas ornament, or a rakutie (small scale raku vase).

In honour of the return of ‘Game of Thrones’ this vase is named ‘Mother of Dragons’ after Daenrys Targaryen. Motherhood is always challenging, but imagine trying to raise three willful dragons. The daycare costs alone must cost a fortune and imagine trying to hire a nanny, though Arya may be a suitable candidate, and possible future sister-in-law.
I was up all night working on a sculpture, and I was in the flow of pure creativity. I am sure one day quantum physics will discover that time is not perceived in this state. But until then, here are some images of what kept me up all night.
