Claude Monet’s stunning series Water Lilies has inspired the creation of this raku pottery owl, playfully named Lily.

This series of approximately 250 oil paintings are inspired by his flower garden at his home in Giverny, France. They were his main artistic focus in the last thirty years of his life. Many of them were painted while he had cataracts.
