Homer’s Odyssey

Not Available

We are happy to share one of our latest vases, “Homer’s Odyssey” which references two great cultural works.

The “Odyssey”is an epic poem by Homer that tells the tale of Odysseus’ ten year journey home after the fall of Troy. Having been away for so long, many men are trying to move in on his wife Penelope. Good thing she was able to delay her suitors with just the right project – a burial shroud for her father in law. ‘O’ yes she did!

The second story for this vase tells the tale of a man and his love of the sugary sweet treat – donuts. As Homer Simpson is fond of saying “I donut know what I’d do without you. That is kind of how I feel about this vase.
