People ask why mythology
inspires my creations.
The answer is simple:
these stories contain universal truths about the human condition.
Take the story of the Minotaur’s Maze.
Born out of a king’s greed and desires, and a queen cursed,
he would consume human beings.
Is this different than the poverty and inequality we navigate today?
At the centre of our maze today is the greed of a few billionaires.
And That’s no bull.
That makes a lot of sense. Some things never change…
That is an interesting link between pottery, the Minotaur, ancient days, the corporate world and Big Business, and today. (Yes, I am back. )
