An Arboreal Address

“Whoever has learned how to listen to
trees no longer wants to be a tree.

He wants to be nothing except what he is.

That is home. That is happiness.”

– Herman Hesse

Trees have always meant
a great deal to me.

From visiting them in winter

Taken yesterday

to marvelling their colours in the fall,

celebrating them in clay

Click to see more trees like this in other colours

to honouring them in glass,

Trees are home.

I sometimes even wonder if as a species we would best thrive in forests
and among trees 🤔

What do you think?
