New Year is passed, but People seem to have some strong opinions about when one takes down their Christmas tree.
Ours is up for about a week more!
How about at your home?
Is your tree still up?

before it catches fire. I usually leave it up till the second week of Jan but I got a dry tree this year so its coming down in a day or two now.
That is definitely smart and considered. 👍
Our tree comes down the day after Christmas. When it’s over, it’s over.
I haven’t put a tree up in years… 😂
Christmas cactus? 😝
I’m sure somebody has done that!
Best to you in the coming year!
We traditionally leave our tree up until twelfth night.
We always leave it up for Little Christmas – January 6th – regardless of the state of it by then!! So I’ll be taking it down on the 7th…
Traditionally the tree goes up on Christmas Eve and stays until January 6th aka “Little Christmas” or The Epiphany. Tree comes down on January 7th.
Our tree goes up on St Lucy’s day & remains up through Twelfth Night at least. I aim to get it down by Plough Monday each year. Sometimes life gets in the way.
We have a fake tree. We leave it up until Jan. 8, a special day for my hubby. It would have been his father’s birthday. I change the appearance from a Christmas tree to a tree with lights and a few ornaments that are not related to Christmas.
We usually take ours down after January 8 because I cannot stand to have it up any longer than that. However, this year, oddly enough or maybe not so odd considering the state of things, I would be fine if the tree stayed up until February. I like having it around.
We have a small live tree that we reuse every year, bring it in on December 1st, take it back outside January 2nd! Each year it gets a little bigger!🎄
I tend to leave mine up until New Year’s, but this time I packed everything up early.
Usually either Epiphany (Jan. 6) or even until the Presentation (Feb. 2). The tree doesn’t usually go up til 4th Sunday of Advent, so there’s some wiggle-room there, I think.
Unusual year. Taken down on Boxing Day. May have been something to do with the excessive snow that happened here. We usually have very little.
