It’s the first day of winter!
And today is also the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere!
Around here that means 8 hours and 43 minutes of light
and 11 hours and 17 minutes of dark.
This is the season where I literally crave light, This craving gets stronger and stronger before the snow comes as it can be very grey and gloomy for many days.
So what better way to celebrate the dark nights and the coming return of warm light than with candles!
