  1. When you’ve got two strikes, choke up on the bat. ๐Ÿ˜€ Seriously though, this is a metaphor for life as well. When things get tough, you may need to change your approach in order to succeed. Baseball FTW! ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Baseball is a microcosm of life, as are many sports. I coached youth baseball in a small town (700 residents) for six years (and youth basketball for three years), ages ranging from 7-14. Baseball teaches teamwork, putting the group ahead of the individual, sacrificing (both literally and figuratively) to put teammates in a better position to score, focus, concentration, determination, winning and losing graciously, trying your best, never giving up, good sportsmanship, and the list goes on. Mainly thought, for those kids, the goal was to have FUN while learning to play ball. I know I had as much fun as those kids. Happy times, and good friendships along the way. You really can learn a lot about life on the baseball diamond. ๐Ÿ™‚
