“The Nephelai”

The Nephelai were the nymphs of the sky, and if you’ve ever forgotten your umbrella and then got wet on a rainy day, it’s their fault.

(you can read the story for this vase here).

These are 2 closeups of the same vase.

  1. The colors and the sheen make this vase mesmerizing… I see nebulae when I look at this vase, so that appeals to me as a space nerd. What a gorgeous piece! πŸ™‚

    1. A fellow space nerd beaming his comments on to my blog! Thank you for your kind comment. I often see space or mythology in my pieces. I hope you have a great day!

    1. thank you! that is very kind. i am glad that it brings a feeling of nostalgia to you in its own way. that is very connective to hear. πŸ™

  2. Beautiful pottery! The blend of deep colors looks like a cluster of stars. The one on the right (the full image of the vase), on the lower part, I could see a map etched on the vase. πŸ™‚

      1. That vase is lovely too! Thanks so much for sharing the link. ❀️ I love these words: “TO REMEMBER THAT WE ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS WORLD – THAT WE ALL LEARN TO BE CONSIDERATE OF WHAT OTHERS ARE GOING THROUGH INSTEAD OF GLORYING IN OUR OWN MISERY.”

        Warm regards, Melisa ❀️
