I was never into the style of punk, however, I did like music back in the day from those who wore the look.
I loved Cyndi Lauper, she had a great singing voice and sung catchy tunes, especially True Colors, Time After Time.
Billie Idol’s song “Eyes Without A Face” is one of my all-time favorites.
Annie Lennox- I will not call her a punk-rocker but she and the Eurythmics was a great eighties group!
Kajagoogoo- with too shy (just loved that song)
I loved all types of music but those who had the appearance of punk made a lot of good music.
