    1. Thanks LeAnna! It is one of my favourite holidays too! I always end up leaving the tree up as long as I possibly can. The lights brighten up the depths of winter. I hope you are having a great week!

    1. Thanks for your forgiveness 😉 I can’t believe that they have everything out so early. Usually here they wait till the day after Halloween!!! They don’t have to ship things, but we do!
I hope you had a great day and your week is off to a great start!

  1. These ornaments are so good. Some of them are potters bells as well. Do they have a opening on top–for the decorative cloth ringing thing………Beautiful. Yes its early for Christmas, but here in my place—festive time have began—— you can sell to this community ——and bells are used here as well–Navratris for Goddess Durga are coming and then is VijayaDashmi! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c093WIPkG0s

    1. Thank you for sharing that beautiful video. The dancing, the beautiful Sari’s, the lights! I’d love to experience that in person some day.
The ornaments have only the tiniest hole at the top, otherwise they would explode in the kiln. I have made some, where before I closed them on the wheel they had a small piece of clay left in them, but they sound more like a rattle than a bell. Do they use ceramic bells in those celebrations?

      1. Mostly metallic bells, What I was saying was just for decoration. Yes it may sound blunt. There are lot of clay things used in festival times of India. These are – potters clay lamps, of various sizes, colors, aclled diyas. Even the thing in video above shows clay things for burning essence. Then clay pots of various are also used. Some for carrying over head. Some for storing holy rice after worship. Traditions vary per occasion and per family. Kalash some how looks like an inverted bell to me, you may not view it same way though~~ Here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GL3DySAGiNY
