“It is odd that we have so little relationship with nature, with the insects and the leaping frog and the owl that hoots among the hills calling for its mate.
We never seem to have a feeling for all living things on the earth.”
How do you connect with nature?

I used to play with insects as a kid especially ants. Your family and kids have a good chance to be near nature! Stay blessed !
I like to get out early in the morning to walk or jog, before the cars are on the road. It’s a time full of birds and bugs and deer and rabbits.
As often as I can I get outdoors- even if it is just for a few minutes or during my lunch hour at the office. I try to walk or stand barefoot and just breathe. The rest just happens. Thank you for this post. The pics and narrative a nice!
I’ve recently been fascinated with fallen leaves. In fact my son and I watch the trees and leaves outside our lounge window. He feels really empathic towards leaves as he cries when the gardener rakes them all up to clean out the lawn. But I understand his connection.. fallen leaves are meant to be on the ground and not in a bag. My sons connection with leaves has really fascinated me and has brought me closer to the naturalness of order and disorder and where things ought to be.
