DAY 22 – Making Something each Day Keeps The Anxiety Away

The backstory

SINCE THIS LOCKDOWN is lasting longer than originally anticipated . . .

I have decided to move from doing vases only. From what I have learned around how pottery has helped my PTSD, my plans to help manage the stress and anxiety on lockdown are simple: I will continuing to make a new item for each day.

I aim to continue updating this post each day with my latest lockdown thing I made! (I am looking for ideas! Submit what you think I should make here!)

Phew!

You can also see finished vases (ie not raw clay) here

    1. Thank you for your kind comment, Mico! I appreciate and hope you are keeping well.

  1. If I didn’t create something every day I would go mad. It doesn’t have to be a story or a poem. It can be a meal or a picture, or even a post! I like the vase on day 10 but we haven’t anywhere to put vases except one, on the dining table. All my shelves are covered in books and the window silis have curtains that would knock them off.
Someone gave us a beautiful red glass vase for our ruby wedding anniversary and it’s still in its box. Maybe a flower pot would make a change? We have a chamber pot that had herbs in it but no holes in the bottom so it wasn’t too successful.
    Keep inventing!

      1. All windowsills already covered with pot plants and boxes of paperwork. All bookshelves choked with books. Table covered with letters. Not a spare inch for a vase, especially a delicate one!

    1. Thank you Michele! So glad you like them! Thank you for all your support 🙏 I hope you are keeping well today and have a great week coming up!
