  1. It’s a beautiful vase shape! To answer your question, when I was a kid I saw an elderly man trying to stack firewood. I felt sorry for him, and I wasn’t in a hurry or anything, so I offered to help. He frowned and said, “What will it cost me?” That was the first time I learned that you have to earn someone’s trust before they’ll let you help them.
