Owls are mysterious
mostly nocturnal creatures, hunting their prey in the cover of darkness.
On a symbolic level, they represent wisdom, good judgment and knowledge. They are also known for their sharp vision, being able to see in the darkness and their keen sense of observation, and to some are also representative of insight and intuition.
Yesterday, raku owl ‘Lilly’ – affectionately named after and inspired by Claude Monet’s series of Water Lilies – left the nest. It was a bittersweet send off.
Ahh beautiful!

As a bicyclist, I would love to have the rotating ability of an owl. I think owls can see nearly 360 degrees.
Amazing! If you look in the ears of some breeds you can see the back of their eyeballs!
