Goodbye Lilly

Owls are mysterious

mostly nocturnal creatures, hunting their prey in the cover of darkness.

On a symbolic level, they represent wisdom, good judgment and knowledge. They are also known for their sharp vision, being able to see in the darkness and their keen sense of observation, and to some are also representative of insight and intuition.

Yesterday, raku owl ‘Lilly’ – affectionately named after and inspired by Claude Monet’s series of Water Lilies – left the nest. It was a bittersweet send off.

Thank you, Sam, for bringing her home.
