Don’t bottle your grief and pain. It can become an emotional poison.
Maybe you grew up with rules like I that prohibited and restricted crying.
Sometimes we all need a good cry, to release the pain and sadness. It literally is the overflow valve for emotion.
And provide some emotional release and relief.
It’s okay to cry when you need to. It’s not your job to hold things in until you feel like you’re going to burst. It does not matter if your make up runs, or your eyes get puffy, or even if you are a boy. Our tears are a way to let things going and make room in our hearts for healing.

Great advice. I view tears as living, sacred adornments from within, a glaze for the cheeks that my emotional kiln fires into experiential connections I celebrate as inner gold that flows up from within to fill the cracks for renewed wholeness. Better for having been broken, I am continually put back together without motion-limiting scars. I am continually opus back together with the golden splendor of connections made that celebrate the breaks. The broken bone heals stronger. I heal stronger.
