I’ve learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way They handle these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.
If it’s raining, tops the umbrella, look up, and raise your hands high.
If it’s cold bring a coat or two, someone else may need one, too.
If it’s sunny, bring a friend.
Then, if it’s raining, bring a friend.
If it’s cold, bring a fiend.
If it’s sunny, you’ll prob see your friend in the park of their own accord.
Tangled Christmas tree lights remind me of my grandad. He was a lathe turner by trade so very methodical and paid attention to detail. He always followed the same process every year, with minimal fuss.
