    1. its taken time and practice to be able to do it for sure. Thankfully, since I have had time and practice, it is easier than it used to be but it is still a fun challenge.

  1. Mae West! There’s a name you don’t hear too often these days. Maybe you can ‘shape’ something for her other great line from ‘My Little Chicadee’: “Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?”

    1. it definitely can be. Centring the clay on the wheel is definitely one of the hardest parts of getting started, but practice makes perfect. Handbuilding can also be calming, but is a very different experience.
