This week At The Studio in Photos by thealchemistspottery on Jun 28, 2020June 28, 2020 A frog’s advice. If anything bugs you, eat it! The ladies are working around the cluck, a true testament of their hendurance. The garden is really taking off! We’re so excited that we wet our plants. But that’s mostly because we have not had rain for a week. The kiln gods were kind, and everything emerged unscathed. Even my crazy coronavirus sculpture. A large moon moth came to visit on the first day of summer. What a lovely treat! May you have a peaceful week filled with all the love and compassion that you need. Be good to each other. Unfortunate about the lack of rain. This week we had some rain but only on one side of the house 🤣. Looking out the front it was sunny and dry…Looking out the back it was rainy.
Clever jokes! Beautiful pictures! Thanks for the chuckle.
Love Love Love – all of your photos.
Thank you, Lynda! I am glad to hear you enjoyed looking at them! Keep well!
Great use of puns! I have never seen a moon month. That is crazy-cool!
Yes! It was new to me as well! The puns, however, are not 😉
Lovely feel to your work & message. Very uplifting 🌞
So glad that it resonates with you!
That moon moth is beautiful and I love your pottery! ❤️
Thank you! So glad you like the pottery (and moon moth!)
Nice photos, I love the collection and the virus sculpture!
Thank you, John! I am very happy that it came out in one piece!
Beautiful photos – I’ve never seen a moon moth before.
Had not here either, though the neighbour said he had 10 on his house at once and they visit every year!
Lovely! Thanks for sharing. Y’all take care.
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the pictures, Marica! Keep well!
What a gorgeous garden, and a lovely collection of pictures from a blessed week.
Thank you, Tish! This time of year is so much abundance from the garden, it truly is a blessing as you mention! I hope you are doing well!
Thank you, Julie! I am glad to hear you enjoyed them and I hope you are keeping well
Great photos!!! Wow!! I have never seen a moth like that 😮😮 Moon Moth huh? Wow! Is huge!
Also love the little coronavirus lol 🦠 that’s hilarious!! 👏✌️
It was a first for me too! I had never seen a moth of that size, though the neighbour says they often land on his house and he had 10 there at once! Thank you for your kind words!
Thank you! I am so glad you enjoyed them. Keep well!
Love your photos!
This is what I call a “feel good” post. Thank you. 🙏🏻
Thank you! I am so glad to hear it resonated with you and helped you feel good 🙂
It was wonderful to find your blog and another person who is working in clay. I just finished a semester of auditing a ceramics course, and concentrated on sculpture. Your glazes are gorgeous!
Thank you! The combination of shape and colour is truly a fascination.
I’m shocked (pleasantly) the coronavirus sculpture survived the firing process- bravo 👏👌
Oh me too! With pieces that have protrusions like that one never does know until after the firing is complete!
Oh the hens! The hens!
They are fun and cute! I have lately been enjoying petting them after they have had their morning grass. I hope you are keeping well!
Wow, through the eyes of an artist! Beautiful photos and pottery. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you like it Marilyn! Thank you for your kindness. I am happy to share 🙂
I consider myself to have been well and truly punned! What a delight this glimpse into your life has been. Thank you and more of the same please.
I am so glad to hear this resonated with you! I hope you are keeping well. We are planning doing posts similar to this on Sundays 🙂
It made me smile, the pictures, superb, the captions, sublime. I felt warmth envelop me, I’m in Scotland so that’s rare, therefore it’s a yes from me, roll on Sunday, Kate
Definitely will! Thank you for sharing how it made you feel!
Did you get my reply or did I send it out into the cyberdeep in error?
I sure did yep! The ether did not eat it. Thank you for taking the time to write it!
I love the frog’s advice! 😂 Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures!
Oh! you found a Luna moth! How exquisite and precious and rare! A blessing!
