Today marks 50 years since the first “Earth Day” (something I think we should celebrate every day since we literally cannot live without it!)

  1. The one “upside” to this whole horrible Corona Virus pandemic, is that we can finally see that with drastic measures on humans’ part, the Earth can actually begin to heal from all we have done to Her. Let’s hope we can keep some of the good stuff for the planet when this all ends. Happy Earth Day!

  2. I read someplace that the virus is Earth’s way of scolding us humans and grounding us in our rooms. Not a bad assessment. I am hopeful that the new normal will include better respect and treatment of Earth.

  3. Seeing that made me want to colour it in, but perhaps that would spoil it. It’s a very earthy earth.
I have a horrible feeling that we may go back to how we were before. Listening to some people in important positions makes one worry about where we are heading as a species.

  4. Happy Earth Day! That looks like some cool scoring on your vase. I guess the earth is appreciating not being polluted as much with the pandemic going on. I do hope people have enough sense to not mistreat the planet.

    1. You are most welcome! I would love for the reduction in pollution to stay as well.

  5. I’m most thankful for the beautiful mountains and trees nature provides us with.

Lately they’ve helped me find clarity.

  6. What a stunning vase and perfect for Earth Day! I’m thankful for nature as that is what gives me inspiration. The earth has ways to heal itself, however, the world (controlled by humans) needs to listen and learn.

  7. I’m thankful for my continuing good health (🤞) and a contentment with my low- maintenance lifestyle- which allows me to live quite comfortably on very little- like a $1200 stimulus check- which should last me a couple months (🤞). Also- nice vessel- and Happy Earth Day!

    1. Thank you for your kindness; I appreciate it and I hope you are keeping safe and well!
