In November, I shared my desire to collaborate with you on a vase that would use our dreams as fuel for the raku firing.
And it is today that I express my gratitude for your involvement and we celebrate a vase that our dreams have created together: our first ever Vase of Attraction!
You can see more about the project in the video below!
Included in this firing were some special pieces of jewelry that you can purchase here to have your own personal piece of this project.
In the coming year, I will continue working on other collaborative art projects including the Healing Vase in Fall of 2020. If you would like to collaborate with me on that, please add your requests for healing here.
I have also decided on one more annual collaborative art project that I will do each year, bringing the total to threee. But what will this vase be called? Stay tuned to find out. I will be announcing the details about that project next week!
Thank you again to all those who have participated! May we manifest our dreams in 2020 and beyond! You can stay up to date on all of our creations, project, exhibits and special offers by joining our community and subscribing to our newsletter here.

Jβadore le couleur vert- itβs hue is like that of a pond in winter (esp with the rippled mirror like finish)- where everything is asleep for the winter but still alive and full of potential- I think a very fitting color for a vase of hope ππ
A lovely reflection. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment about the vase (and in general). Thank you for being so thoughtful, I hope your day is going well today.
One of my unofficial/continuing resolutions from last year is to be more engaged with my fellow bloggers- itβs not a huge effort and I like giving creative support and advice π

Thank you, Kieran! It was a real treat to clean it off after the firing and have the colours revealed. Hope your day is going great!
Green, also a wish for a greener economy, a greener earth and green for killing the fire of the hawks who spread their war-lust. Green, the colour of peace.
I do love green, in all its shades and I can see you do too.
Thank you for your kind message, I hope your day is going well

Awesome video
It’s like… baptized by fire
Hi Dawn! That is very true! Raku is always using live flame which helps shape the way the glazes come out. You can learn more about that here if you like: https://rakupottery.ca/2019/11/18/the-raku-process/
Thanks. That is so neat. – The things people have thought of & made possible are always astounding, even in the likes of pottery! I also never thought I’d hear such a speedy version of “Ring of Fire”.
It’s gorgeous and the colors seem to flow as if the vase were liquid beauty, except it’s solid.
Thank you Priscilla! As the glazes cool it traps the colours and movement from when it was hot and almost takes a snapshot. Beyond that, as it cools, reduction materials affect the way the glazes turn out. More on the process here: https://rakupottery.ca/2019/11/18/the-raku-process/
Beautifully!
Beautiful Vase.
