Happy Winter Solstice 2019!

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy winter solstice!

For me, the winter solstice is an opportunity to start reflecting on this year and harness the magic and energy of the holiday season to go into the next year renewed and revitalized. I often use the holidays as an opportunity to set goals and intentions for the following year.

I have had quite the year on both the personal and professional front. 2019 has been a year marked by personal loss and continuing on my artistic and creative journey, all the while learning what I can.

I am currently in the process of setting some goals for myself for 2020 as an artist. The first order of business over the holidays will be to revitalize my website to make it easier for those who want to purchase my work, so I will be integrating the shopping cart feature. I want to create a better experience for those who are kind enough to visit my website.

I also have some new exciting pieces and products that are currently under development that I will be sharing with you throughout the year, so I hope you will consider following my journey. You can do so by subscribing to my newsletter here.

Maybe you are starting to set your own intentions for 2020 as well? If so, I would love to hear about them! You may also want to consider participating in our ‘Vase of Attraction’ project, which you can do here.

I had a special request from one of my readers to fire a piece of jewelry in conjunction with the vase for this project, and that got me thinking. I have decided to offer to anyone interested to get a piece of our jewelry fired with the vase. If this interests you, check out our jewelry page and please reach out to me through my contact form. I will also have some new jewelry designs that you can choose from right after Christmas. Space is limited in the reduction container to only four more pieces.

Ceramic jewelry from The Alchemist’s Studio.

I would be remiss if I did not thank you, the readers of my blog for your kind comments and generous support and encouragement in my work. It makes such a difference and means so much to me! My interactions here on wordpress have enriched my life and I look forward to continuing that journey!

In gratitude,

The Alchemist

  2. “The Winter Solstice is the time of ending and beginning, a powerful time — a time to contemplate your immortality. A time to forgive, to be forgiven, and to make a fresh start. A time to awaken.” – Frederick Lenz

    1. Thank you for sharing such beautiful words! I always find that this time of year is very powerful and special. I look forward to the awakenings of a new year and fresh energy.

  3. Happy Winter Solstice. I spent my day devouring audio books, took myself out for supper, cleaned and cleared and tried to be still and rest. This morning I finally wrote about the loss of my grandmother in November which will be my first post for 2020. I think in 2020 I will be trying to “be easier with myself” while also working on myself more intentionally…..not sure how that makes sense but I know what I mean. Keep creating.

    1. Not as late as I am! For some reason wordpress placed your comment in spam. Wishing you a wonderful 2020 and i hope your year is already off to a fantastic start! Hope you are having a great weekend so far!
