Creating Prosperity and Abundance for Yourself and The World

It has been over a month since I started my project, ‘The Vase of Attraction’ and I really wanted to express my gratitude for all those who are participating so far. So many beautiful wonderful souls from so many different places in the world are involved, and that really touches my heart.

Another evening throwing in the studio to soothe my soul.

For those of you not in the know, ‘The Vase of Attraction’ is a participatory art project for those who would like to actively create their lives. My concept for this piece is to allow the process of raku and the flames of the reduction process to act as a fuel for the dreams of all who to choose to participate in this process. The end result – transforming our aspirations into art together to create an object of beauty to manifest abundance. You can see some examples below of what we can create together through this collaborative process:

Because this is a participatory art project, I wanted to give everyone a choice as to which vase we should use for this project. Let me know in the comments which shape you would like to see for ‘The Vase of Attraction’.

Tall or short? – Which vase do you prefer?

Beyond the choice of vase, you may be wondering how you can participate in this process. The answer is simple. Please visit the link here The Vase Of Attraction to add your dreams. I only ask that you keep all comments positive, non political and respectful.

As an added feature of this project, I will be firing up to eight pieces of raku jewelry (necklaces) that will be available to participants in this project who want to keep their dreams close to their heart. These pieces will be available on a first come, first serve basis, and I will be providing some new pieces that you can choose from soon and you will be able to customize colour. If this interests you, please get in touch by email.

Thank you again to all those who choose to participate in this project and for reading. Let’s manifest abundance and prosperity together for 2020 and beyond!

  1. Your vases are so beautiful and you are inspiring!
I actually like both short and tall vases but if I had to pick one I pick the tall one!
I will visit your link later in the day.

    1. Thank you so very much for your very kind words Margie and thanks for offering an opinion and participating in this project! I hope you have a beautiful week ahead!

    1. Thank you Melinda! I find it to be an interesting form, a blend of classical and modern. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

  2. Your pottery is always so beautiful!
I have to say, the tall one appeals a little more for attraction. A much wider mouth to let things in.

    1. Thank you so very much for your kind comment AJ! I appreciate the thought you have put into expressing your vase choice. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a beautiful rest of the year!

  3. What a beautiful project and very lovely artwork! I prefer the shorter one for The Vase of Attraction. I decided I did not want to compare the two, but rather view each one on its own merits. As such, I see the shorter one not as being shorter. As a standalone, I see it as full (as in a full belly), well-rounded (as in what goes around comes around), and broad (as broad in scope). These things resonated with me for The Law of Attraction.

    1. I really love how you approached choosing a vase! One of my favourite quotes is ‘comparison is the thief of joy’. I really like how you compared my vase to a full belly and well rounded 😉 Those things also resonate for me in terms of the Law of Attraction as well! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead full of joy and no thieves 😉

  4. Love ;love love this idea! How are you incorporating the wishes that people send to you? I’m not sure I fully understand, sorry… But I would choose the shorter vase, as it looks chubbier and happier and gentler. And you make jewelry? Have you already posted about this? I thought you just did vases! Your stuff looks so amazing and beautiful, I’m curious what your jewelry would look like!

    1. Hi Michael! Thank you so much for your comments and questions! My process for this project will be similar to that of the Vase of Healing. In raku there is a reduction process that involves fire, so I will print out everyone’s wishes and comments and use them as the combustible reduction material that helps create the effects on the vase. Here is the Healing Vase project video, so you can get a visual sense of the process:

I will be posting more pieces there in the new year, as I have some new designs that are in process 😉
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and enjoy the rest of the year! Wishing you all the best!

  5. I love your ideas and your projects. Wow, this is a hard decision and I am going with the short one. I like the shape of it plus the short vase seems feminine and the tall vase masculine. Perhaps, the two should be a pair!?

    1. I love your ideas and comments! I do find your insight very interesting and have thought of doing grouping of vases before so you may have just given me an extra push to go with that idea. I will have to think about that possibility for this specific project 😉

    1. Thank you for letting me know which one you prefer! I really appreciate it and hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
