You’ve Got Mail!

At least if you participated in my crowdfunding campaign!

The printed copies of my first ever book arrived on Monday, and I have shipped off the last of the books and perks as of this morning. A kind thank you to all of my supporters. It was pretty exciting to see the book in print and very satisfying to cross that off my bucket list. Who knows? There may be another book in the works!

The books are finally here!

I will be sending out the electronic copies of the book over the weekend for all those due to receive them.

I plan on writing a future blog post with some tips for others who are planning to self-publish their own book, so stay tuned if this is of interest.

Now for those of you who are kicking yourself that you missed out on your opportunity to get a copy of the book, I have some good news. I have some extra copies that you can order. You can do so here and help me test out our new shopping cart feature. If you live outside of Canada, the US or the UK and would like to purchase a book, email me and I can provide you with a cost based on shipping to your location.

I also wanted to thank everyone who has been kind enough to complete my survey. This will greatly assist me with planning for the pottery for 2020! If you have not yet done so but would like to help, you can do so here!

This weekend, I plan on doing some throwing to come up with a piece for our ‘Vase of Attraction’ project! My concept for this piece is to allow the process of raku and the flames of the reduction process to act as a powerful intention to bring positive change for all who to choose to participate in this process collectively.

You may be wondering how you can participate in this process? The answer is simple. I am asking you to share one of the following in the written words of your choice in the comments below:

  • What you would like to attract for 2020. What are your hopes and dreams for the upcoming year? This could be anything from more love, to new opportunities, personal growth or more joy.
  • Globally, what positive changes you would like to see in our world. This could be anything from peace, prosperity, or any type of universal global healing.

I only ask that you keep all comments positive, non political and respectful. I look forward to your submissions on this page here.

Chairman Meow would like to attract costumes without jingle bells for 2020!

Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates about this project and to make sure you do not miss the final reveal of the vase!

My apologies for not replying to comments for the past few days. I have been a little under the weather, but will get back to everyone tomorrow!

  2. Oh my goodness, I have been so busy with the holidays I have missed out on so many blog posts. Congratulations, this is so cool. You got a book out with your beautiful art. I would love peace, kindness, and healing for our planet for the coming year. Whoops, forget to write love for the world and it’s people. We need this desperately right now out there. The hate is growing and the only thing that counteracts that is LOVE and lots of it too.
