The End Is Near

I am excited to share that we have reached 127 percent of our total goal to bring ‘A Potter’s Dream: Myths & Legends’ to print, but you can still be involved if you want to get a copy of the book and some beautiful pottery. In less than a month I will be holding a physical printed copy of my first book ever in my hands!

I am down to the final few tasks that are required before the book goes to print next week. Think things like sorting out my ISBN number, doing the groundwork for distribution, and getting ready for the initial distribution of my book copies (and in some cases pottery) associated with the crowdfunding campaign ready to go out! Here is the book cover in case you haven’t seen it.

Speaking of the crowdfunding campaign, it is still running until November 12th and you can still participate in it and get your copy of the book before the holidays.

There are some special benefits that you can get from the campaign that will no longer be available after November 12th. These include the possibility to get a piece of pottery that is featured in the book, or to pair the book with jewelry or home decor, which makes for a great Christmas gift. We can even ship directly to a gift recipient with a handwritten note that includes a message from you.

Some of the perks available with the book!

We will also be signing each copy of the book that goes out through our crowdfunding campaign. Unless you live near me or plan to come to visit, I won’t be able to do this after November 12th, as the books will be directly distributed through amazon and other online sources.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank and recognize the people who have made all this possible. My wonderful readers for their support and encouragement, all those who have shared my campaign, my family for putting up with me during the process and last but not least all of the wonderful souls who have supported my campaign so far!

I would also like to give a special acknowledgement to Melinda from ‘For The Love of Art’, who swooped in like an angel, offering support, encouragement, ideas and featuring my art and book in her blog.

If you have been thinking about getting a signed copy of ‘A Potter’s Dream: Myths & Legends’, now is the time! There are only 5 days left! You can be a part of ‘the dream’ by clicking here. If you are unable to support the project financially, please consider sharing our campaign on social media.

In gratitude,

The Alchemist

  1. I am so very excited for you! This is wonderful news. Any time you are so close to a dream being fulfilled – isn’t that an awesome feeling?

Congratulations on all that you have accomplished so far. Your work is incredible. I am grateful so many can see that! 🧡 Here’s to many more successes and endless fulfilling days.

    All My Best,
    Holly 💕

    1. Thank you so much Holly! It is a wonderful feeling to be so close to the finish line. I appreciate so very much your enthusiasm and excitement for the book project and my work. You all help me push forward so much on here, and I feel truly blessed. It means so much.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!

  2. Now that looks like its going to be an awesome book. From my perspective (a treasure hunter), I can tell you about all of the pottery I have run across from over 500 years ago in a Cocoa Beach, Florida location. To be able to hold these items knowing the last person to touch them is long gone was an experience someone has to see and feel firsthand in order to appreciate it. I wish you nothing but success in creating and selling this book.

    1. Thank you so much for your very kind words and for sharing your experience as a treasure hunter (so cool)! I know the feeling you describe, I have experienced when I have been to historical sites or with the few little treasures of long gone ages I have been able to come into contact with. I smile when I think someone hundreds of years from now may hold a piece of what I created today! Wishing you all the best for an amazing weekend!

  3. Awesome! Missy & Rocky are anxious to read your book. As you know, *Art Books* are not exactly Rocky’s favorite literary genre, but he’s making an exception in your case. Missy, on the other hand, is on pins and needles! She has been walking around the house wondering which easy chair has the best lighting. She tells me lighting is everything when it comes to appreciating art.

    1. Please extend my thanks to both Missy & Rocky! I am so very excited for them to read the book! I appreciate them so much and they always make me smile so when I think of them and Rokonlélek 😉 There is a special surprise for both of them in the book in the first few pages 😉

    1. Thank you so much Jenn! I appreciate the comment and kind words. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    1. You are too kind! I did not make this happen on my own, many wonderful people like you played a part in it! Hope you had an amazing weekend!
