It’s Finally Here!

Many of my regular reader’s will be familiar with The Healing Vase Project I have been working on. For those who are not, you can see the post that started this project here.

You can see more images of the healing vase here.

My concept for this piece is to allow the process of raku and the flames of the reduction process to act as a healing tonic for your grief and pain, for mine, and for all who to choose to participate in this process collectively.

The Healing Vase is now complete, and a special surprise awaits those who watch to the end of the video below. Newsletter subscribers were given an advance update. You can subscribe to our newsletter here for notifications and updates about future projects like this one.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our Youtube channel here!

This project has touched me deeply, so much so, I have decided to include it in my soon-to-be-published bookA Potter’s Dream: Myths and Legends‘ which you can pre-purchase here, through our crowdfunding campaign.

Don’t worry if you missed out on participating in this project. We will be doing another ‘Healing Vase’ project in Fall of 2020. I would also like to announce that we will be doing another community art based project, ‘The Vase of Attraction’, which you can read more about here. This project will give you the opportunity to help create a vase with us by submitting what you would like to attract in your life for yourself and for the world.

Thank you again to all those who participated in this project. Let us know in the comments below what you think of our video, project and of course the vase.

  1. My hope is this project brought you as much healing as it did to so many of us who participated. I felt the emotions so clearly, as if I was right there. I could feel the heat on my hands and face as the embers buzzed around you and the cool fall air surge back in as the embers died down. Thank you…simply…thank you ♥️.

    1. It did indeed Doree! It has deeply moved and inspired me, hearing people’s story made me feel less alone and has moved me forward on my journey and I could not have done that without everyone! I am going to repeat the project next year, and this winter I am going to do a similar sort of project called the ‘Vase of Attraction’. It’s been such a gift and it would not have been possible without you and others! So THANK YOU!

  4. This is a beautiful post and I love the video. I felt the aura of healing coming from the vase in it’s process of becoming beautiful. The cracks add character, which beauty means nothing without character. Character is part of individuality and makes humans, creatures, and your stunning creations one of a kind masterpieces.

    1. Thank you again for your kind words and support and I am so pleased you found beauty in this post and video. That means so much and makes the project even more worthwhile. I agree with you that the cracks do enhance the story and beauty of the piece and could not imagine this particular vase without them. I hope your week is off to a wonderful start!
