As some of you may be aware, this past Friday, my first solo art show for pottery opened.
I wanted to give everyone who was unable to attend the opportunity to have an inside look at the show. Below is a short video that highlights some of the pieces in this exhibit, and will give you a feel for the gallery:
I am pleased to be able to say that the night was a great success! I want to take this opportunity to thank all the lovely souls who took the time to attend and view my pieces. You helped make this moment special for me!
I would also like to acknowledge the professionalism and hard work of Mathew at the Riverside Oxford Gallery for the opportunity to show my work. Your knowledge, insights and help were incredibly appreciated!
Let me know what you think of the video and which piece was your favourite in the show in the comments below. You can also view more of my vase creations here.
The music got my volume twitchy finger… However I was curious enough to turn it back up and listen with deliberateness and not displeased…. I know what menu is coming! I can dream of stuffed grape leaves. ;). My favorite was brahmanda. I got a chuckle at Icarus wondering if it was high enough displayed 😁😁😁😁 don’t fly too high Icarus! Hee hee! Congratulations on your showing! Thank you for your so many likes crossing my page when it’d be empty without them 🙂
You are very welcome! I am glad you were able to have some dreams of stuffed grape leaves 😉 I had to make sure Icarus did not burn up during the show 😉 Thank you so much for your kind comments! So appreciated. I hope your week is off to a great start!
If you like potential DRAMA? Hahahaha. Save Icarus! Save us from ourselves! Heheh. Ice Icarus.
Ice Ice Icarus! 😉 Thanks for making me smile 😉
Turn the wheel to 5 point ohhhhhh ? Throw that mud – er…. Rollin! In my five point oh…. Worry to your mother…. Poor vanilla ice .
Haha! Glad to share this laugh with you 😉
That was brilliant!
Thank you so much Christine!

Unbelievable! The video is perfect. The work of the earth is exciting, perfectly well staged, well filmed and vases … with their names! I hesitate. The mother of the dragons tempts me well!

You work is beautiful. I would not show it against brick walls however, (bamboo?) which distract from the elegance of it. Fun video! Congratulations.
Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words. I can see what you are saying in regards to the brick wall and some of the pieces, particularly Homer’s Odyssey. I hope your week is off to a great start.
i really liked the song that accompanied the video! congrats on your first show

Beautifully done work. Anand Bose from Kerala
Thank you so much for your very kind words! I hope you are well!
Nice video! I like your work. At first I thought Mother of Dragon! Then I thought Homer’s Odyssey! But then I saw The Eye of Balor! Honestly though, they are all beautiful! And I love the stories you have for them and the way you invite people to create stories for them. It’s a beautiful interaction and art.
Thank you! I am glad a few resonated with you. I appreciate your comment and hope you are keeping well.
The mythological inspiration for each piece enriches their sumptuous beauty as creations! Each piece amazes me with its unique, enchanting power.
