Title: Shattered Blue
A poem
Shattered blue
Crooked waist
Perfection made
With this vase
A kiss of sky
And curves, delight
Behold its beauty
An ode to night
Wow! I absolutely love this and would like it multiple times if I could. Truly beautiful and really captures the details of the design and finish. So thank you for sharing this and visiting! I hope you have a great week ahead!

Soul Catcher
Thank you so much for your idea! I hope you have a great week!
Expectant.
inside, the spark of a new idea begins to flicker and intensify
each new inspiration, a moaning wave, cracks the exterior
morphing a once symmetrical, flawless, container
into an expectant vessel, ready to be more than anyone ever imagined
(at first glance – it looks like a pregnant person – bursting with child or idea. beautiful!)
Thank you for sharing your amazing words! And guess what! That piece is going to be part of a show later this year about ‘bodies’, so your intuition is correct, and your poem is lovely. You have captured the form and the experience of the maker as well.
Thanks again for participating and I hope you are having a great week!

Whale
The depths of my soul come up through this clay
Spouting and twisting until the shape is right
My finger tips stop at each curve
feeling the energy flowing
In through my hands
Cracked and rough
All for this one piece
That’s held to a standard
By each one of you
Thank you for writing such a beautiful poem and I do see the whale shape for sure! I hope you are doing well and having a great day!
Thank you, you as well.

Shapes something like the risen sea.
