This past weekend, I completed a raku pottery firing where I was hoping for some results with interesting textures. The kiln gods did not disappoint and here are a few of the results!

I altered a few of the variables in the raku firing process to get these textured surfaces, and I am pleased with the results. Some of these pieces are for a solo exhibition later this year. I am looking forward to sharing more information with you about this and other plans for the year.
